What is Realm? 

Realm is an online ministry tool designed for real time connection. It helps our church connect with you and you connect with us. If you consider yourself part of this church family, you’ll love it. Realm allows you to manage your personal information and who is allowed to see it, control your giving, and keep in touch with the groups that matter to you.

Why use Realm?

Realm strengthens church connections.

Being the church doesn’t just happen at the church. Realm helps us serve you better and leads this church well between Sundays. Everyone can be connected from anywhere at any time, right from our mobile devices. It engages everyone in the life of our church by supporting the healthy relationships essential to our church’s mission. We’ll stay organized, and you’ll stay informed about all of the opportunities for fellowship. When we share life together, we will grow together.

What about my Privacy?

Realm is safe, private, and secure.

Your privacy is one of our greatest concerns. Realm is only made up of the people in your church, it’s not like a social network that’s open to everyone. Realm keeps your data safe and gives you control over what information you share and who can see it.

What about giving?

Realm gives you control over your giving.

Giving should be easy, and Realm places giving right in the palm of your hands. You may set up recurring gifts, view your giving history, and make changes at any time. Realm automatically records all electronic gifts and adds them to your giving record making it easy for you to give, and easy for our bookkeeper to track.

How to Register
Update your profile
  1. Log in to your site.
  2. Click your name in the upper-right corner, and select My Profile.
  3. Click Edit Profile.
  4. On the Contact Information tab, enter or edit the fields displayed. See Additional Field Information below for details.
  5. Note, especially, any fields marked with an asterisk. These must be completed before you can save.
  6. Click Save.
Add your photo

Ideally, the image you choose to upload should be 172 x 172 pixels. If the image is larger, you should zoom out until it fits in the dashed-line center square. Otherwise, the website will delete the remainder. If the image is smaller, it will not be automatically enlarged to fit the space. You can zoom in, but might lose resolution. Most photo or graphics programs can determine and alter the size of an image.

  1. Log in to your site.
  2. Click your name and select My Profile.
  3. To add a family picture, click the second button.
     
  4. Click the image square.
  5. Click Choose File and browse to your image.
  6. If necessary, adjust or move the area that will be displayed. You can also rotate or zoom the image by using the sliders on left and right.
  7. Click Save.
Set your privacy setting

By default, the viewing of your personal and contact information is limited to members of groups you are in, group leaders, and staff members. If you choose to, however, you can make your information visible to all registered users of your church's website.

  1. Log into the site.
  2. Click your name in the upper-right corner, and select My Profile.
  3. On the Info tab, next to Edit Profile, click to the privacy icon .
  4. Select a family member (if more than one).
  5. Click one of the buttons above the line to apply that setting to all information in the profile, or click Custom Privacy and select a setting for each field.
  6. Click Save.

While you can hide the majority of your information from most of your church, you should know that, regardless of your settings, contact data will still be visible to certain members of your church staff.

A family member with a primary position such as "Head" or "Spouse" can also change privacy settings for other members of the family.

Find a Group
  1. Log into the site.
  2. Click Community > Groups > Find Groups.
  3. Click the group type. 
  4. To filter by meeting day, click a day of the week. 

  5. To search for a group by name, enter your search in the Filter Groups text box.
  6. Click the name of a group to see its details.
  7. Click Join Group, then click Send request to let the group leader know you want to join.
