Lady Chi'Ira Oliver

Chi’Ira Oliver, affectionally known as Lady O, at her core, is the personification of grace and power. Where she leads, she loves.  Where she equips, she empowers.  Where she supports, she soars.  A native of Louisiana, and a graduate of Grambling State University and Southern University A&M College, Lady Oliver has married her intellect with her ingenuity and has left an indelible impact on women all over the nation through her ministry and passion for God’s people.

Striving to be a “Titus 2 woman”, Lady Oliver is thankful for the blessings of God in her husband, Dr. Craig L. Oliver, Sr., and their three beautiful children, Craig Oliver, Jr., affectionately known as C.J., Corrie Kené and Charlee Reign Oliver.  Her family is not a responsibility that she takes lightly.  She has stated that as long as she is on this earth, her family (gems) will forever be her priority.

She is most humbled that God would choose her to serve in ministry.  She is a minister in her own right and believes that a strong ministry mandates a strong family and anyone who is a wife has a ministry that is geared toward her husband and family.

As leader of the Women of Worship (WOW) ministry of Elizabeth Baptist Church, Lady Oliver has positioned the women’s ministry to become one of the largest and most impactful ministries within the EBC family.  For the past 10 years she has hosted and facilitated both domestic and international retreats as well as the annual WOW Conference where thousands of women converge on the city of Atlanta to receive instruction and impartation from speakers and women of international acclaim and influence.

A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., Lady Oliver has been recognized by several high profile entities throughout the country who have been touched by the imprint of her grace.  She has been honored as a Torch Award Recipient as well as a recipient of the Unsung Heroine Award in recognition for her leadership and philanthropic achievements.  She was also recognized by the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream as an Inspiring Woman in celebration of her responsible stewardship of the influence she wields in the church and in the surrounding communities.  She is not only a Woman of Worship, but she is a Woman of Power and Results!

Lady Oliver’s educational achievements are nothing short of impressive as they include a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Grambling State University and a M.S. in Computer Science from Southern University and A & M College. Her successful career accomplishments include her employment at the C.I.A. in Langley, VA, a Software Engineer for Merck & Co., in Lansdale, PA as well as a Software Engineer with Hewitt & Associates in Atlanta, GA.

Never one to rest on yesterday’s accomplishments, Lady Oliver has begun a new venture as a masterful entrepreneur.  As an advocate for safer cosmetics and beauty products, she is blazing an entrepreneurial trail with Beautycounter! Upon engaging and educating herself regarding Beautycounter’s mission, she became burdened with obligation to not only protect her family from the toxic ingredients that are found in our everyday products, but she decided to lend her voice to the mission and educate our community so that everyone she would encounter could in turn protect their families.  Within 2 years, she has earned the title of Sr. Director, which is among the top 1% of the company.

Summarily, Lady Oliver is a distinguished leader leveraging her ingenuity in the Kingdom of God, the community, and abroad.  She is ultimately focused on being a shining light to not only the Elizabeth family, but the body of Christ as a whole.
